CHEESEMONGERS

To

POP STARS!

Once there lived a cheesemonger and he had a little shop in the middle of a village called Youinghon he had 7000 children and he could not afford the amount it cost to give his whole family a decent meal. One day he was bankrupt and had to sell their house and furniture to keep enough money for one bread crumb each time it got to July the seventh.

The only time they had enough food for more than one day a year was when they found a pot of jam in the cupboard so they had a millionth of a tea spoon and they were all happy for two seconds then they complained about being starved all over again. The cheesemonger died 3 minutes later then his children went off to find a job and by full coincidence they all went to do the same job! They had been very poor until they found their jobs and never found any friends to play with because they were all looking for scraps of food all the time. They only found copper coins and the very luckiest coins they could find were five pence pieces. The villagers felt sorry for them until they found their jobs.

They became quite rich through the hard work they did and soon became very popular. They got lots of friends and then became very famous. They decided to get the job of a pop star and were in the middle of writing a tragedy song about their father when they heard a strange tapping on the door.

They found out that it was a lot of bandits from the north forest. They had heard about the money they had and had come to rob them of their jewels and said they would murder them if they didn't give them their valuables so they gave over their money. The bandits thought that was not all of their money so they killed them anyway. Then the spirits came out and frightened the bandits away and they were never bad again.
