Midsummer House - review

AVOID

We went to Midsummer House tonight, in our cycling gear as usual, and started to negotiate to park our bikes in their front garden, as we've done on our regular (but infrequent) visits more or less ever since they opened.

But this time the snotty little git who came to the door seemed to be insisting that we park our bikes where his nice refined guests couldn't see then, like for example in the middle of the common somewhere, after all "we wouldn't like the place looking like a bike shed, would we".

We felt that we wouldn't enjoy spending an evening in an establishment who so clearly felt that we would be lowering the tone of the place, so we went elsewhere.

We no longer recommend this establishment.
