King's Canyon

Until recently the preserve of the 4wd-start-at-4:00am-safari, King's Canyon now has a paved road, which is much more boring but brings it within day trip range of Yulara with a sane start time (say, 7:30am). As with most Australian walks it actually took us considerably less than the posted time to do the 6.5km canyon rim walk, even with the 3 year old.
