More Oz Wildlife
This page, I'm afraid, is partly excuses. We didn't get pictures of:
- scorpion - we were too busy trying to get rid of it
- leech - ditto
- wild poisonous snake - it had wriggled away somewhere by the time the children
thought to go and fetch an adult - I suppose we could have taken a picture of the
dead python, though
- dolphin - look, it was all I could to do hang on with both hands and not fall over
the bow of the boat while trying not to be sick; I couldn't do anything with a
camera at the same time!
This page still under construction. We've got a new toy which captures stills from
video, and are scanning the slides via the camcorder! - but it's taking a while to become
proficient with the technology.
When we get the rest of the slides scanned and some stills captured from the
videotape there will be a cassowary or four, a praying mantis,
a dead python, a dead camel (if you count these last two as
wild"life") and possibly some better pictures of the whales. Oh, and probably
some more kangeroos, quokkas, live camels, and other such boring stuff.
| Monitor
Some sort of monitor lizard. Partly tame, this one - it lived in this tree
in the garden and ate bones, a bit like partly tame badgers.

Reptiles
A snake, a lizard, a crocodile (with his mouth sellotaped shut)
and an Elizabeth.

| Humpback Whale
(Honest. There were three of them.)
