Oz Wildlife

Sorry, no Wombats, previous experience shows that they are particularly difficult to take pictures of as they keep trying to eat the camera.

Quokka

This is a small furry creature which (mostly) lives only on Rottnest Island, off Perth. Tim invented the quokwich, but Christopher came up with the recipe.

Orca

Bit out of place, this one. We last saw captive Orcas in Vancouver Zoo.

Parrot

(If someone tells the the technically correct name for this bird I might get round to changing it. But calling them "parrots" seems quite reasonable to me.)

Kangaroos

Yes there are two of them, that's the baby's nose peeping out.

Koala

Legend has it that while they look cuddly these are actually vicious little b****rs. When the prime minister of China gave the visiting prime minister of Australia a baby panda to cuddle, and it urinated on him, he decided to retaliate on the return visit by giving the Chinese premier a koala to cuddle, in the hope that it would bite him. I don't recall whether it actually did or not.

Camel

I think these count as genuine Autralian wildlife because they were used extensively in the desert, particularly in the building of the Ghan.
